Job Summary
Conduct detailed evaluations to assess orthopedic patients and develop individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices. Administer therapies to improve range of motion and physical capabilities while creating personalized fitness programs to enhance strength, flexibility, and coordination. Manage a patient load of one patient per hour, delivering continuous care through ongoing assessment and adaptation of interventions based on progress. Maintain meticulous documentation of all services within the electronic medical records system and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- A valid Physical Therapist license in New Jersey
- History free from board or disciplinary actions on your license
- Proficiency in manual therapy techniques
- Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing personalized exercise programs tailored to individual needs
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting
- Familiarity with EMR software such as WebPT
- A strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of physical therapy
