Job Summary
Assess patients through comprehensive evaluations to establish individual rehabilitation goals and develop customized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices. Provide individualized care focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation to enhance mobility and reduce pain, while adjusting plans based on ongoing evaluations and patient feedback. Utilize advanced modalities including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises, and document progress meticulously in the Web PT EMR system. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care for patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- An active Physical Therapist license in Virginia
- No history of sanctions or board proceedings
- Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques
- Experience developing and implementing exercise regimens
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly Web PT
- A solid understanding of current research-based practices in physical therapy
- Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm
- Onsite work in Alexandria, Virginia
