Job Summary
Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans for orthopedic recovery. Manage a patient load of approximately one patient per hour while employing evidence-based techniques to enhance movement and function. Monitor and document progress using WebPT software, adjusting care plans to optimize outcomes and educate patients on exercise protocols. Collaborate with physicians and PTAs to coordinate comprehensive care, promoting long-term wellness through tailored fitness programs. Work Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM in a 5,000-square-foot facility focused on post-operative rehabilitation and chronic pain management.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a Bachelor's degree in a related field with relevant experience
- Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey
- Strong foundation in manual therapy techniques
- Commitment to patient-centered care
- Proficiency in developing and implementing therapeutic exercise regimens tailored to individual patient needs
- Ability to effectively use EMR software, particularly WebPT, for documentation and patient management
- Excellent communication skills
- Capacity to build rapport with patients and healthcare colleagues
