Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and assessments based on physician referrals, then develop and implement tailored treatment programs targeting orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, or sports medicine goals. Provide hands-on therapy using manual techniques, therapeutic exercise, and modalities to optimize recovery while fostering strong relationships with patients and families. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to track progress, modify plans as necessary, and educate clients on injury prevention and health maintenance strategies. Meet minimum utilization targets and contribute to departmental performance objectives within a supportive outpatient setting in Sanford, Florida.
Required Qualifications
- Completed a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited program
- Current state licensure in Physical Therapy in Florida
- Certification in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in using word processing and computer software for documentation and reporting

- Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings or similar rehabilitation environments
