Job Summary
Assess patient goals and needs to tailor individualized treatment plans for orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, providing focused, confidential therapy sessions while utilizing evidence-based practices to enhance mobility and quality of work. Develop comprehensive care plans incorporating manual therapy, non-invasive interventions, and personalized fitness programs to encourage natural recovery and reduce reliance on medications. Continuously motivate patients through ongoing assessments, progress documentation, and open communication with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM within a collaborative team of two physical therapists and one assistant.
Required Qualifications
- A completed Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
- Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Illinois with no recorded disciplinary actions.
- Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to adapt treatment based on individual patient needs.
- Strong background in designing and supervising task-specific exercise programs.
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly using WebPT, for documentation and patient management.
