Job Summary
Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' unique physical needs and rehabilitation goals, managing a caseload with one patient per hour. Implement cost-effective therapies to improve mobility and reduce medication dependence while creating individualized care plans that integrate various therapeutic techniques. Deliver evidence-based interventions to optimize recovery, encourage active patient participation in strength and balance training, and collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive care. Regularly evaluate treatment outcomes, document services thoroughly, and maintain transparent communication with patients and families.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- Active and valid Florida license as a Physical Therapist
- Clean professional record with no history of disciplinary actions against your license
- Proficiency in manual therapy techniques
- Competency in developing and implementing exercise protocols
- Familiarity with using WebPT EMR Software for maintaining patient records and treatment documentation
- Monday through Friday schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient environment
- A demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues and patients
- Experience in using rehabilitation technologies and modalities
