Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations assessing functional abilities and movement impairments to formulate individualized treatment plans for orthopedic conditions. Utilize manual therapy, specialized exercises, and modalities to reduce pain and enhance mobility, while developing home exercise programs and educating patients on injury prevention. Collaborate regularly with orthopedic surgeons, chiropractors, and rehabilitation staff to discuss patient status and modify treatment strategies. Maintain precise documentation of evaluations, progress, and interventions according to state regulations. Work onsite at our Sayreville, NJ facility with a multidisciplinary team, serving diverse populations including post-surgical patients, athletes, and those with chronic pain.
Required Qualifications
- A valid and active New Jersey Physical Therapy License
- Possession of a Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare professionals
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 to 3 years of clinical experience in outpatient and orthopedic settings
- Hands-on experience with evidence-based interventions
- A keen understanding of contemporary physical therapy practices
