Job Summary
Assess patient needs to establish tailored treatment goals and manage a caseload of one individual per hour with focused attention. Implement diverse treatment strategies, including manual therapy and therapeutic modalities, to improve range of motion and functional abilities. Design comprehensive care plans addressing orthopedic issues and overall wellness while documenting activities thoroughly for compliance. Monitor treatment outcomes and adjust protocols based on progress, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated care. Encourage patients to adopt preventive exercise routines and lifestyle modifications to reduce medication reliance and avoid surgery. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM in a supportive outpatient rehabilitation environment.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) from an accredited program
- A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, with no record of board or disciplinary actions
- Strong foundational knowledge of orthopedic conditions and appropriate therapeutic interventions
- Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise program design tailored to individual patient needs
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, for patient documentation
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings
