Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patient goals and needs, then develop individualized care plans addressing musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. Deliver evidence-based interventions including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and modalities to facilitate optimal recovery for clients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, managing chronic pain, or dealing with sports-related injuries. Monitor patient progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary, while motivating patients throughout their journey and collaborating with other healthcare professionals for a multidisciplinary approach.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- An active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey
- A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience specializing in orthopedic rehabilitation with a strong focus on musculoskeletal injuries
- Substantial experience in direct patient care, including assessments, treatment planning, and executing effective interventions
- Exceptional communication skills, allowing you to effectively interact with patients, their families, and a multidisciplinary team
- A compassionate approach to patient care, coupled with the ability to manage varying personality types to foster trust and cooperation
- Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Desired Qualifications
- familiarity with modern treatment methodologies, such as evidence-based practice and outcome measures
- Previous experience with electronic health record systems
