Job Summary
Evaluate patients' needs through comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on physician referrals. Implement evidence-based practices utilizing various therapeutic techniques to address unique patient needs, including strength training, mobility exercises, and pain management. Monitor patient progress, adjusting techniques as necessary to achieve desired outcomes while ensuring consistent communication with the multidisciplinary team. Provide therapeutic care sessions for a diverse population with orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports-related injuries. Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding treatment goals and educate them on techniques. Engage in community outreach programs to foster relationships and support the clinic's wellness commitment. Help establish and meet operational goals, such as patient satisfaction and utilization metrics. Full-time role in Keansburg, NJ.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- Valid State License in Physical Therapy
- At least two years of hands-on experience in a clinical setting, with a focus on orthopedic care
- Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in word processing and other computer skills to maintain records and reports
- The ability to create trusting relationships with patients
- A commitment to positively engaging with both patients and community partners
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in pediatric and sports rehabilitation
- Familiarity with rehabilitation technologies
- Familiarity with evidence-based treatment protocols
