Job Summary
Deliver personalized treatment plans and implement targeted therapeutic interventions for patients with orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain. Maintain a manageable patient load while documenting progress accurately in EMR systems like Web PT. Design fitness and wellness programs, encourage non-surgical alternatives, and monitor outcomes to adjust care strategies as needed. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated patient care in our outpatient sports medicine facility.
Required Qualifications
- A valid Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
- An active Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey, with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
- Proficiency in manual therapy techniques, demonstrating a wide range of treatment modalities.
- Strong background in designing and implementing exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
- Experience using EMR software effectively, with a focus on accurate and organized documentation.
- A deep understanding of current research-backed physical therapy techniques that enhance treatment efficacy.
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
- A track record of successful patient outcomes in rehabilitation is a positive addition.
- Familiarity with evidence-based practices and emerging trends in physical therapy is preferred.
