Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical abilities to develop individualized treatment plans for those recovering from orthopedic surgeries or managing chronic musculoskeletal pain. Administer cost-effective therapeutic interventions and manual therapy techniques to improve movement, eliminate pain, and optimize functional outcomes. Motivate patients to adhere to treatment plans while documenting progress thoroughly and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team for holistic care. Perform these duties Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM in our outpatient facility in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist without any disciplinary actions against your record
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting, focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation
- Proficient in designing exercise regimens specific to individual needs and recovery goals
- Demonstrated experience in manual therapy techniques with a passion for improving patient outcomes
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings and with a variety of treatment modalities, including dry needling or specialized manual techniques
- Additional certifications, such as the Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS)
