Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop tailored care plans aligned with individual recovery goals for orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions. Provide hands-on physical therapy interventions while instructing patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and the use of aids or prosthetic devices. Manage daily staffing needs, organize schedules, and coordinate patient assignments to maintain fluid workflow within the Ashburn, Virginia rehabilitation center. Evaluate and treat patients in accordance with legal and ethical standards using established EMR software.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a closely related field
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree
- Licensure as a Physical Therapist in Virginia
- A clean disciplinary record
- Proficiency in manual therapy skills
- Experience in developing personalized exercise programs
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, such as WebPT
Desired Qualifications
- At least two years of prior experience working as a Physical Therapist, particularly in an outpatient orthopedic setting
- Familiarity with evidence-based treatment methodologies and practices that enhance recovery outcomes for patients
