Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' physical abilities and functional limitations, then design and implement individualized treatment plans focusing on mobility, strength, and pain alleviation. Administer therapeutic techniques including manual therapy, exercises, neuromuscular re-education, and modalities like ultrasound and electrical stimulation. Track patient progress meticulously, adjust plans as needed, and engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with physicians and other therapists. Educate patients and families on injury prevention and home exercise programs while maintaining accurate documentation in electronic medical records. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, onsite at a home care facility in Ozark, Missouri.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or a Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Missouri
- A minimum of two years of professional experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting
- Strong skill set in manual therapy techniques and functional movement assessments
- Solid understanding of therapeutic practices
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Experience working in a home care setting, providing therapy to patients in their own environments
- Proven track record of successfully managing treatment plans for diverse orthopedic conditions
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems to maintain accurate patient data
