Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify physical therapy needs and design individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices. Implement therapeutic techniques including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and neuromuscular reeducation while adapting protocols based on patient progress. Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to coordinate comprehensive care and educate patients on injury prevention and at-home rehabilitation programs. Regularly document patient progress in electronic health records to ensure accuracy and compliance. This full-time onsite role focuses on orthopedic rehabilitation for patients recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders within a collaborative rehabilitation center environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Active California license as a Physical Therapist
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy curriculum
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in physical therapy, with a strong focus on orthopedic rehabilitation
- Experience utilizing electronic health record systems for documentation and patient management
