Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions and create individualized treatment plans addressing unique rehabilitation goals. Administer manual therapy techniques, guide patients in therapeutic exercises, and assist with mobility aids like walkers and crutches. Maintain accurate patient records, track progress against established goals, and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Educate patients and families about in-home care options and exercise techniques to support continued recovery. Diagnose movement dysfunctions and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure a holistic approach to patient care. This full-time onsite role focuses on an orthopedic patient population recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic musculoskeletal conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field
Desired Qualifications
- A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting, especially within orthopedics
- Prior experience working in an outpatient office and familiarity with a variety of rehabilitation techniques
- A proactive approach to patient education and engagement throughout the recovery process
