Job Summary
Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans for patients with orthopedic impairments, including those recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain. Collaborate with healthcare providers to navigate a patient's continuum of care, while assessing and adjusting treatment plans based on progress to implement evidence-based approaches. Document evaluations, sessions, and discharge plans comprehensively, and supervise assigned support staff to ensure effective program execution. Participate in community outreach and engage in continuous professional development through staff meetings and educational programs. This full-time onsite role at Benchmark PT Clinic in Alexandria, Virginia, supports a multidisciplinary team using state-of-the-art equipment to foster improved mobility and quality of life.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- Active state license in Physical Therapy
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in the use of electronic health records systems and other relevant technologies
- Drug-free workplace
