Job Summary
Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans for orthopedic patients based on thorough evaluations of their physical capabilities. Conduct comprehensive assessments using diagnostic and prognostic tools to measure muscle, nerve, joint, and functional abilities. Oversee and mentor physical therapy assistants during treatments while modifying care plans based on patient progress and interdisciplinary collaboration. Educate patients and families on therapeutic device usage and maintain detailed clinical documentation ensuring regulatory compliance. Participate in case conferences and staff meetings to align on treatment strategies and stay updated with latest physical therapy techniques. Full-time onsite role in New York City requiring a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and active New York license.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- A valid and active license as a Physical Therapist in the state of New York
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- A strong understanding of evidence-based practices
- Proficient in the assessment and treatment of orthopedic conditions
- Ability to demonstrate clinical expertise and independent decision-making capabilities
- Full-time onsite employment in New York City
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of one year of experience as a physical therapist
