Job Summary
Provide direct physical therapy treatment to a caseload of approximately 7 patients daily, conducting thorough evaluations to develop personalized rehabilitation plans. Utilize specialized modalities including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and ultrasound or electrical stimulation to enhance recovery and mobility. Educate patients and families on exercise regimens and injury prevention while maintaining accurate documentation of evaluations and progress notes. Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to care. This full-time onsite role at Good Reps Rehab Center in Port Jervis, NY, focuses on orthopedic rehabilitation for patients recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal issues.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New York
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a related field
Desired Qualifications
- Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy
- minimum of 2 years of outpatient experience, particularly in an orthopedic setting
