Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions, incorporating assessments of strength, range of motion, and functional capabilities to formulate individualized treatment plans. Administer hands-on therapy that directly addresses patient's physical limitations using evidence-based methodologies, including advanced manual therapy techniques alongside therapeutic exercise and functional training. Provide one-on-one care to a maximum of two patients per hour, prioritizing quality and focused intervention without the support of aides or techs. Track and document patient progress comprehensively using electronic health records (EHR) to adjust treatment plans promptly based on measurable outcomes. Engage in collaborative case discussions with physicians and other care team members to create a cohesive and comprehensive treatment strategy. Participate in our structured mentorship program under a fellowship-trained therapist, guiding your professional growth and advancing your clinical skills. Schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy (MPT) or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited educational program
- A valid and active Physical Therapy license in the state of Nevada
- Strong foundation in manual therapy and exercise protocols relevant to orthopedic treatment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in using electronic health records systems for clinical documentation
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic or rehabilitation setting
- Background in providing individualized care plans and therapeutic interventions for orthopedic patient populations
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment
