Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, assess physical abilities and functional limitations, and devise tailored treatment plans for individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain. Deliver hands-on therapeutic techniques including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities to optimize patient recovery. Document clinical assessments, treatment notes, and progress evaluations accurately using the WebPT EMR system. Educate patients and families on treatment objectives, self-management techniques, and preventative care strategies. Monitor patient progress, modifying treatment plans as needed to reflect ongoing assessments and evolving goals. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including orthopedic surgeons and allied health professionals, to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Appropriate licensure to practice in California
- Active California Physical Therapist license in good standing
- A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting
- Hands-on approach to patient care
- Proficiency in manual therapy techniques
- Experience operating Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in developing individualized therapeutic programs that incorporate modern rehabilitation techniques
- Familiarity with community resources for rehabilitation
