Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient assessments by reviewing medical histories and symptoms, and perform physical examinations to determine individual patient needs. Diagnose movement dysfunction through practical evaluation techniques and develop comprehensive, individualized treatment plans to restore function. Implement therapeutic exercises, hands-on techniques like massage therapy, and movement training to alleviate pain and enhance recovery rates. Coach and guide patients through specific rehabilitation exercises and stretches, ensuring they understand proper technique for maximal effectiveness and safety. Monitor patient progress, adapt treatment plans based on outcomes, and maintain detailed and accurate patient records to track goals and improvements. Provide education and guidance to patients and their families regarding in-home therapies, expectations for recovery, and preventative strategies. Work onsite at our outpatient office Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM.
Required Qualifications
- A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida.
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, along with a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent from an accredited program.
- At least two years of clinical experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect positively with patients to foster trust and cooperation.
- Strong communication skills to facilitate effective interactions with healthcare team members, including physicians and family members.

- Prior experience in creating and implementing evidence-based treatment programs
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- A commitment to continuing education and professional development in orthopedic techniques
