Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical conditions, develop diagnoses, and customize treatment plans for those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Deliver hands-on physical therapy services including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities like ultrasound or electrical stimulation. Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and lifestyle adaptations while monitoring progress through detailed records and adjusting plans as needed. Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons and healthcare providers to ensure cohesive treatment strategies aligned with surgical protocols. Maintain a valid Florida Physical Therapy license and a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree, with at least two years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting. Submit a resume and cover letter detailing experience and qualifications to the human resources department.
Required Qualifications
- A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida
- A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent from an accredited institution
- Proven experience (minimum of 2 years) working in an orthopedic outpatient setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
