Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive orthopedic evaluations to establish baseline functions and develop personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based methodologies. Provide hands-on therapy instructing patients on exercises and modalities to enhance mobility, strengthen muscles, and alleviate pain while monitoring progress to adjust plans as necessary. Educate patients and families on injury prevention techniques and self-management strategies, documenting all interactions and outcomes in compliance with regulatory requirements. Work onsite in patients' homes across West New York, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team including physicians and occupational therapists. Requires a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy, current New Jersey licensure, and at least two years of clinical experience in an orthopedic setting.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational institution
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey
- A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in physical therapy, specifically in an orthopedic setting
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
- Proficiency in designing and implementing treatment strategies
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in home health care settings
- Special certifications in orthopedic therapy techniques, such as Manual Therapy or Sports Rehabilitation
- Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient management
