Job Summary
Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations to develop tailored intervention plans for adults and seniors recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders. Utilize evidence-based techniques, including manual therapy and modalities, to treat post-surgical rehabilitation and chronic pain management while implementing and monitoring exercise procedures. Regularly evaluate patient progress to modify treatment strategies and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive care solutions. Document patient care accurately and maintain ongoing communication regarding treatment objectives. Perform duties Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM in an onsite rehabilitation center.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
- Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy.
- No history of disciplinary actions on your professional license.
- Proven proficiency in manual therapy and patient-specific exercise program design.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a fast-paced outpatient clinic setting.
- Familiarity with patient management software and electronic health records.
- Advanced training in therapeutic modalities or specialized certification in orthopedic physical therapy is a plus.
