Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans for diverse patient cases referred by physicians. Utilize evidence-based techniques including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and patient education to optimize outcomes. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to modify treatment plans and provide consultations on recovery processes and home exercise programs. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and meet established utilization goals while delivering compassionate care to patients recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic conditions. This full-time role at Clearwater Valley Rehabilitation Center in Cypress, Florida, supports a patient-centered approach to movement rehabilitation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- Current state license to practice physical therapy
- Certification in Basic Life Support from an accredited organization, such as the American Heart Association
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer proficiency related to patient management systems
- A strong desire to build relationships with patients and the community to facilitate engagement and participation in their own care
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in orthopedic physical therapy or related specialties such as pediatric, neurologic, or sports medicine care
- A proven track record of implementing evidence-based interventions that result in successful patient outcomes
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Proficiency in utilizing telehealth solutions as applicable
