Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate physical conditions and functional abilities, incorporating evidence-based practices into evaluations. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to unique needs, performing hands-on therapeutic techniques including manual therapy, modalities, and exercise programs to alleviate pain and restore function. Regularly monitor and document patient progress, making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal recovery, while providing education on home exercise programs and injury prevention. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure a comprehensive approach to care for post-operative orthopedic patients and those managing chronic pain. Maintain accurate medical records adhering to regulatory standards and stay updated on the latest advancements in physical therapy.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- A valid and current Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey
- A minimum of two years of experience in physical therapy or a related field
- Demonstrated strong clinical skills and the ability to assess and implement various therapeutic techniques effectively
- Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families
- Proficiency in working independently while also being a proactive team player within a multidisciplinary setting
- A deep commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care that prioritizes positive outcomes
Desired Qualifications
