Job Summary
Assess and evaluate patient conditions to develop targeted treatment strategies for orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain. Implement hands-on therapy techniques including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities while providing education on recovery and preventive care. Maintain detailed progress records in WebPT EMR systems and collaborate with physicians and occupational therapists to ensure cohesive patient care. Regularly adapt treatment plans based on feedback to optimize recovery pathways. Operate onsite Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM with a target volume of two patients per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Current and active New Jersey Physical Therapist license in good standing
- A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation or outpatient orthopedic setting
- Demonstrated competency in manual therapy techniques and therapeutic modalities
- Proficient with EMR systems, particularly WebPT
- Strong communication skills
- No prior disciplinary actions or board issues
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in working within a team-based environment, applying interdisciplinary approaches to patient care
- Familiarity with evidence-based practices in rehabilitation, especially concerning orthopedic conditions
- Previous experience with education and mentorship roles, guiding less experienced staff or interns
