Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to develop personalized treatment plans for individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries. Implement and adapt therapeutic interventions based on ongoing evaluations, while documenting care activities including progress notes and discharge summaries. Engage in interdisciplinary consultations to modify treatment plans and participate in departmental meetings and quality improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and maintain updated knowledge of industry standards. Work onsite from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, within a collaborative environment featuring cutting-edge technology.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited physical therapy program
- Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in Virginia
- A minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience in outpatient orthopedic settings
- Current CPR certification
Desired Qualifications
- solid experience in various orthopedic rehabilitation techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and emerging treatment modalities
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
- successful participation in clinical outcomes measurement programs
