Job Summary
Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations to assess functional limitations and develop personalized treatment plans for patients with orthopedic injuries and post-surgical needs. Utilize evidence-based protocols to implement treatment plans, adjusting as necessary based on patient progress and changing health conditions. Transition patients seamlessly through discharge planning and monitor follow-up care to ensure continuation of the treatment plan. Document patient care activities meticulously, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, while complying with state practice acts and regulations. Engage in multidisciplinary consultations when necessary and participate actively in team meetings to improve patient access and rehabilitation services. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm in a collaborative environment focused on restoring function and mobility.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current physical therapy license in the state of Virginia
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy settings
- Current certification in CPR
Desired Qualifications

- familiarity with modern physical therapy equipment, including Electrotherapy and Ultrasound instruments
- history of participation in professional development courses
