Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess physical abilities, needs, and goals, then develop and customize individualized therapy plans integrating manual therapy and therapeutic exercises. Regularly monitor patient progress through assessments to adjust treatment plans for optimal results, while collaborating with physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists to deliver holistic care. Educate patients and families about conditions and treatment plans to promote active participation, and maintain precise documentation of interactions using WebPT. This role focuses on orthopedic outpatient care for patients recovering from joint replacements, sports injuries, and chronic pain.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current Physical Therapy license issued by the state of Washington
- Strong foundational knowledge in orthopedics
- Proficiency in manual therapy techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT
Desired Qualifications
- At least two years of clinical experience in a similar outpatient orthopedic setting
- Familiarity with developing and implementing personalized rehabilitation programs
- Prior experience in mentoring or training junior staff or interns
