Job Summary

Develop individualized rehabilitation programs for outpatient orthopedic patients, adjusting strategies based on unique goals and progress. Maintain a manageable case load while documenting all services accurately in Web PT electronic medical records. Employ advanced manual therapy techniques and evidence-based practices to enhance mobility, utilizing targeted fitness programs for long-term wellness. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure cohesive care for patients recovering from surgery, injury, sports incidents, or chronic pain. Work Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm in a supportive outpatient facility in Appomattox, VA.

Required Qualifications

  • A completed Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
  • An active Physical Therapist license in Virginia, with a clean record free from sanctions or board proceedings
  • Demonstrated proficiency in various manual therapy techniques
  • A strong foundation in evidence-based physical therapy practices
  • Exceptional ability to develop and implement effective exercise programs that achieve desired therapeutic outcomes
  • Familiarity with using EMR systems, particularly Web PT, for efficient documentation and tracking of patient progress
  • Current knowledge of physical therapy methodologies and best practices supported by clinical research
