Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments and design tailored rehabilitation plans for patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, sports conditions, and post-surgical procedures. Manage patient caseloads while delivering cost-effective treatment strategies that prioritize non-surgical alternatives and active participation. Implement diverse modalities including manual therapies and therapeutic exercises, alongside fitness programs addressing immediate and long-term health goals. Collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals to enhance care, continuously evaluate treatment efficacy, and maintain accurate documentation in the Web PT EMR system.
Required Qualifications
- Possession of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- Active Physical Therapist license in Virginia, in good standing with no history of sanctions or board proceedings
- Exceptional proficiency in various manual therapy techniques
- Adept in using EMR software, particularly Web PT, for seamless documentation and patient tracking
- Up-to-date knowledge of physical therapy practices backed by research
