Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess physical capabilities and limitations. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and specialized equipment. Monitor individual treatment goals, document progress meticulously, and adjust interventions to optimize outcomes. Provide education on assistive devices and engage in interdisciplinary communication to support holistic care. Participate in continuous education and team workshops to maintain current best practices in orthopedic rehabilitation. This role serves individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic joint pain conditions.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
- A valid state license in physical therapy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective patient and team interaction
- Proficiency in computer applications and electronic health record (EHR) management
