Job Summary
Provide hands-on therapy using manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities tailored to orthopedic patients for post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain. Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies while continuously monitoring progress to adjust treatment plans. Collaborate with occupational therapists, chiropractors, and medical staff for coordinated care, and maintain precise medical records in the EMR system. Work Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM in our outpatient office serving adolescents through seniors.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational institution
- Active New Jersey State Physical Therapist license in good standing
- Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a similar setting
- Proven proficiency in manual therapy techniques
- Strong understanding of evidence-based treatment protocols
- Experience with EMR systems
- Commitment to maintaining accurate patient records
- No prior disciplinary action or board actions against your licensure
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working directly in orthopedic rehabilitation settings
- Expertise in specialized treatment techniques such as sports rehabilitation or post-operative care
- Strong communication skills with a focus on patient education and engagement
- Experience with WebPT
