Job Summary
Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient needs and establish personalized treatment goals for outpatient orthopedic clients. Develop and implement comprehensive care plans utilizing evidence-based techniques, manual therapy, and cost-effective treatments to optimize mobility and reduce pain. Manage a patient load averaging one patient per hour while monitoring progress, documenting meticulously, and adjusting plans as required. Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and lifestyle modifications to support ongoing rehabilitation. Collaborate closely with a team of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant to deliver multidisciplinary care.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or related field
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Texas with a clean record, free from disciplinary actions
- Minimum of two years of clinical experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting
- Strong familiarity with manual therapy techniques and rehabilitation protocols
- Proficient in the use of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT
