Job Summary
Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical capabilities and design, implement, and modify personalized rehabilitation programs tailored to unique needs. Regularly monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans based on responses while administering therapeutic exercises, manual therapies, and modalities to address specific impairments. Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians and nurses, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care. Educate patients and their families on effective home exercise programs and strategies to promote ongoing health and independence. Maintain strict compliance with state and federal regulations while upholding the highest standards of professional practice. Work with a diverse population recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Current and active licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or higher from an accredited institution
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- A genuine commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry advancements
Desired Qualifications
- At least two years of experience in physical therapy, particularly in a skilled nursing facility or with geriatric populations
