Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of residents to determine physical capabilities and individual treatment requirements. Develop, implement, and adjust personalized treatment plans focused on enhancing strength, mobility, and functional independence for clients recovering from orthopedic surgeries and injuries. Utilize manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and electrotherapy modalities to address physical impairments while maintaining accurate documentation of patient progress. Engage in regular communication with clients and families to provide education on home exercise regimens and wellness strategies. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including occupational therapists, nurses, and physicians to establish comprehensive care plans. Stay informed about evidence-based practices and contribute to shared knowledge through collaborative learning. Full-time role in Saint Cloud, Florida with a salary of USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
Desired Qualifications
- A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility
