Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients recovering from orthopedic procedures, injuries, or chronic conditions within a clinical setting. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing diverse therapeutic methodologies, such as manual therapy, exercise prescription, and the use of specialized equipment. Monitor patients' progress by meticulously documenting treatment sessions and modifying plans of care as necessary. Establish strong communication with patients and their families to educate them on treatment protocols and self-management strategies. Actively engage in mentoring and training opportunities for new graduates and team members. Participate in continuous education and training workshops to stay current with best practices. Work with a diverse patient population including pediatric, adult, and geriatric clients with various orthopedic issues in an outpatient office in Freehold, NJ.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- A valid State License in Physical Therapy for New Jersey
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in using health record systems and word processing software
- Ability to adapt and respond flexibly to the varying needs of patients
