Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical capabilities to formulate comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual needs. Deliver one-on-one therapy sessions incorporating hands-on manual techniques and targeted therapeutic exercises. Monitor patient progress by regularly assessing treatment efficacy and adjusting care plans to maximize recovery strategies. Engage in team meetings to share insights and enhance interdisciplinary patient care. Educate patients and families about therapeutic interventions, home exercise programs, and lifestyle adjustments. This role focuses on orthopedic outpatient rehabilitation for athletes, post-surgery patients, and those managing chronic pain in Renton, WA.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Current and active Physical Therapy license in the state of Washington
- Strong foundation in orthopedic care
- Proficiency in manual therapy techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Desired Qualifications
- A Master's or Doctoral degree
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation
- Experience in creating customized rehabilitation programs that lead to measurable patient outcomes
- Background in utilizing modern therapeutic modalities, such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation techniques, to enhance patient recovery
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems, preferably WebPT or similar platforms
