Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, assess their physical condition and functional abilities, and develop individualized treatment plans that align with physician goals. Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and lifestyle modifications while documenting all interactions accurately and timely. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to maximize recovery. Engage in regular team meetings to collaborate with fellow clinicians and share insights for improving therapeutic approaches. Work onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in a supportive environment, serving orthopedic patients, pediatric clients, and sports medicine individuals.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an APTA or CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Hold a valid State License in Physical Therapy to practice in Virginia
- Current Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association
- Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Adept at using word processing and other computer technologies
- Strong interpersonal skills to establish rapport with patients and their families
- Must be available for a structured schedule from Monday to Friday
- Must work a standard 40-hour week
