Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify individual needs and develop effective treatment strategies for adults recovering from sports injuries, post-operative procedures, and chronic orthopedic conditions. Manage a caseload of approximately one patient per hour while designing and implementing comprehensive care plans utilizing manual therapy and therapeutic exercise. Document patient progress and intervention effectiveness in accordance with EMR standards, collaborating with a team of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant. Motivate patients to adhere to prescribed therapy regimens and offer alternative solutions to invasive procedures. Work Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM in our Jersey City facility, which focuses on promoting functional movement and quality of life through tailored interventions.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or higher
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey
- A clean professional record, free of disciplinary actions or board issues
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in orthopedic physical therapy practices
Desired Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in a similar outpatient orthopedic facility
- Expertise in manual therapy techniques and the ability to develop individualized exercise regimens
- Proficiency in using EMR software platforms, such as WebPT, to streamline patient management and documentation processes
