Job Summary
Evaluate and assess patients referred by healthcare providers to develop tailored treatment plans for orthopedic conditions, surgeries, and sports injuries. Implement regimens incorporating manual therapy, rehabilitation exercises, and modern therapeutic technologies while maintaining accurate records of progress and treatment changes. Provide compassionate care through effective communication, guiding patients through protocols and offering personalized education about their conditions. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize rehabilitation strategies and support shared recovery goals.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- valid State License in Physical Therapy to practice within New Jersey
- minimum of two years of experience providing physical therapy in an outpatient setting
- focus on orthopedic cases
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in computer applications and documentation systems
