Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with orthopedic conditions to assess functional limitations and develop individualized treatment plans. Utilize manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises tailored to unique needs, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to optimize outcomes. Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain accurate documentation per regulatory guidelines. Engage in community outreach initiatives and participate in quality improvement programs to enhance clinical practice. This role primarily serves adults and seniors recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and repetitive strain injuries. The position requires a valid state license, DPT or Bachelor's degree, and BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
- A valid State License in Physical Therapy.
- A strong written and verbal communication skill set.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and other clinical documentation systems.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience working in outpatient orthopedic settings.
- Familiarity with specific treatment methodologies, such as dry needling, kinesiology taping, or sports rehabilitation.
- A track record of engaging in community service or volunteer programs relating to physical therapy.
