Job Summary
Assess patients' physical conditions and functional limitations to develop tailored treatment plans, utilizing expert knowledge in orthopedic physical therapy to guide interventions. Deliver hands-on physical therapy treatments, including manual therapy techniques, modalities, and therapeutic exercises, while designing personalized fitness programs that align with individual patient goals. Collaborate closely with physicians to review progress and adjust plans, maintaining up-to-date documentation in compliance with protocols and utilizing EMR software. Evaluate treatment outcomes regularly to measure patient progress and apply evidence-based practices for continuous improvement. Work with a diverse population ranging from athletes recovering from sports injuries to individuals managing chronic pain and post-operative rehabilitation. Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Current and valid Physical Therapist license in New Jersey
- Clean professional record
- Demonstrable proficiency in manual therapy
- Knowledge of evidence-based orthopedic practices
- Experience in developing and executing rehabilitation programs tailored to individual patient needs
Desired Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- Familiarity with EMR systems, especially Web PT
- Commitment to ongoing education and training in the field of physical therapy
- Prior clinical experience specifically in orthopedic outpatient therapy
- Sports rehabilitation experience
- Experience in related fields
- Demonstrated success in a similar clinical setting
