Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities to develop individualized treatment plans focused on their unique goals. Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, utilizing evidence-based interventions and personalized fitness programs to improve mobility and reduce medication reliance. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide holistic care, maintain meticulous documentation for compliance, and regularly assess outcomes to adjust plans. Motivate patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic conditions to optimize strength, flexibility, and coordination. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM in a collaborative outpatient setting.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- Valid DC license to practice as a Physical Therapist
- Clean professional record, free from any board or disciplinary actions
- Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques and exercise protocol design
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting
- Proficiency in using WebPT EMR Software for patient documentation and record-keeping
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build rapport with patients and healthcare colleagues
- Experience in developing and implementing treatment plans that utilize a variety of modalities and therapeutic techniques
