Job Summary
Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions, including mobility, strength, and function, to establish individualized therapy plans. Utilize evidence-based manual therapy techniques and movement strategies to aid patients in their recovery journey. Regularly monitor and document patient progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation specialists, to enhance overall patient care. Educate patients and their families on ongoing treatment strategies and necessary lifestyle modifications to facilitate rehabilitation. Serve a diverse patient population recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and degenerative musculoskeletal conditions in an outpatient setting.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- An active Physical Therapy license in the state of Washington
- Demonstrated experience in orthopedic therapy with proficiency in manual therapy techniques
- While a minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical orthopedic setting is required
- Experience working with diverse patient populations in outpatient rehabilitation is essential
Desired Qualifications
- a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, is advantageous
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and critical thinking skills
- candidates with additional certifications in specialized therapy techniques or advanced manual therapy training will be viewed favorably
