Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patient objectives and establish individualized treatment goals for orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, trauma, or chronic pain. Manage a patient load of one patient per hour while utilizing manual therapy techniques and evidence-based practices to administer effective rehabilitation. Document all interactions and treatment plans diligently in EMR software, monitor progress, and modify care plans based on feedback. Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, and self-management strategies to promote recovery. Operate Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm in an onsite clinical setting at Flexi-motion Rehab and Wellness Center in Jersey City, New Jersey.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- Current and clean licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey
- No record of board actions or disciplinary measures against your professional license
- Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and personalized exercise regimens that support rehabilitation goals
- Familiarity with EMR software platforms, particularly WebPT
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient physical therapy practice
