Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to gather medical histories and understand individual goals, then design and implement personalized treatment plans integrating evidence-based practices. Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities tailored to orthopedic rehabilitation, while monitoring and documenting patient progress to adjust strategies based on recovery stages. Educate patients and families on injury prevention strategies and effective home exercise programs, and participate in weekly team meetings to enhance collaborative treatment. Focus on diverse populations ranging from sports injuries to post-surgical rehabilitation, ensuring therapy is relevant to each individual's background and recovery goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Active licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, specifically within orthopedic physical therapy
- Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to devise targeted treatment interventions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively connect with patients and collaborate with the healthcare team
