Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patient needs and objectives, then manage a caseload of one patient per hour with customized treatment plans. Utilize evidence-based modalities to design individualized care plans that enhance mobility for patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgical repairs, and musculoskeletal conditions. Educate clients on treatment options and preventive strategies while documenting all interactions and progress meticulously. Collaborate with physicians and occupational therapists to address complex cases and regularly update treatment plans based on feedback. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM within a fully equipped facility serving private insurance clients.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey with a clean record, free from disciplinary actions
- Proven abilities in manual therapy techniques and conducting comprehensive exercise regimens
Desired Qualifications
- Previous work experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting
- Understanding of the latest rehabilitation techniques and tools
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and a commitment to patient-centered care
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically experience with WebPT
